WHERE WE ARE?

Located in a picturesque cove next to Crikvenica, on one of the most diverse parts of the Adriatic coast, Selce is one of the most beautiful pearls of Croatian coast. It won many awards for the excellence of its tourism offer and the overall appearance of the town – the title of best holiday resort on Kvarner even 4 times. In addition, it came second twice and first once  in the “Blue Flower” campaign organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board for the best holiday resort on the Adriatic. Once a village of fishermen and stonemasons, today an interesting holiday destination with a tradition of tourism reaching back more than a century, Selce is a charming little town which provides everything you need, but still offers tranquility and peace ideal for a family holiday.

BEACHES IN SELCE

Selce boasts crystal clear sea and marvelous beaches which have been flying the eco Blue Flag for several years now, as the best guarantee for the cleanest sea. You can choose between modernly equipped concrete, pebble or sandy beaches, but also beautiful natural beaches within reach by foot or by boat, where you’ll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the untouched nature. With a mean summer water temperature of 23°C and a bathing season from May to October you are sure to enjoy it!

SPORTS AND RECREATION

Situated between green hills covered with woods and beautiful crystalline sea, Selce offers many possibilities for enjoyment and recreation. Except for all kinds of water sports it is perfect for jogging, biking or simply talking a walk down the seaside promenade where you can enjoy your cappuccino or a cocktail along with a spectacular sundown every day. If you like fun on 2 wheels or seeking the heights in your hiking boots don’t forget to pack your sports equipment! Beautiful more than 8 km long seaside promenade ideal for easy bike rides awaits you, as well as hiking trails, starting just a few minutes away from our house, where you’ll fall in love with sparkling of aquamarine sea through the green branches along the way… And if you have appetite for more, there is a lot in the neighborhood to explore!

EXPLORING AND EXCURSIONS

One of the advantages of Selce is its vicinity to many interesting excursions destinations. If you want to see more, there is a lot to see! Beautiful islands of Krk and Cres, nearby towns of Novi Vinodolski, Crikvenica, Rijeka, Opatija, vicinity to even 3 national parks (Plitvice lakes, Velebit, Risnjak) – all within reach! read more!

There are two restaurants only 50 meters from our house and many more in the center of Selce, as well as many cafes, pizzerias, taverns, pastry-shops, bars etc. There is also a bank, post-office, polyclinic, pharmacy, shops and a supermarket – everything you need for a great holiday!
